Make initial contact without an unnecessary trip

In your enquiry, state the document language, translation direction, document type and intended use. Include the page count and preferred deadline. Knowing which authority, court, school or employer needs the document helps establish the scope and format. If the recipient has provided written requirements, mention them at the outset.

This applies to assignments from Wieliczka, Skawina, Niepołomice and Bochnia, as well as Tarnów, Nowy Sącz and other places in the region. A legible scan or photographs of every page will help with the preliminary assessment. The method of sending documents and any need to present an original are agreed before the work begins.

Agree collection and whether a visit is needed

Before travelling, individual clients should call +48 735 753 383. Courts, prosecutors and police can use +48 883 040 483 or +48 735 753 383. Arranging an appointment allows the meeting time, required documents and collection method to be confirmed. Do not plan a journey solely on the basis of an indicative calculator estimate.

If you want to send material or receive the translation remotely, ask which options are available for your particular assignment. Establish whether the recipient requires a paper document, an original for inspection or a specific electronic format. Allow separately for the translator’s working time and document delivery time.

Interpreting requires separate arrangements

For questioning, a hearing or another appointment, specify the exact location, date, start time, participant’s language and expected attendance duration. Availability for a particular time must be confirmed. Handling documents from across the region does not automatically mean the interpreter can attend any location at any time.

If the request comes from a court, prosecutor’s office, the Police or another authority, identify the unit and contact person. This helps establish the scope of attendance, access to material and the necessary organisational details. You do not need to send the complete case file with an initial general enquiry.

What is agreed before work begins

The terms should cover the scope, price or pricing basis, deadline and delivery method. For a sworn translation, the document on which the translation will be based is also established. These arrangements make the process clearer whether you contact the office from central Kraków, a neighbouring municipality or a more distant part of Małopolska.
